What ozone treatment actually does

Ozone treatment fills the sealed cabin with ozone gas. Because it's a gas, it reaches everywhere air does: deep in the fabric, under the seats, and through the vents and A/C system. It breaks down the molecules that cause the smell, so once it's finished there's nothing left to mask. For the best result we pair it with an interior clean or shampoo, so the ozone works on a fresh, dry surface.

How the treatment works

• We clean, and if needed shampoo, the interior first. Ozone works best on a dry cabin, so damp seats or carpet may need to dry before we start. If that means a second visit or running the heat to dry it faster, we'll sort that out with you.

• The car is sealed and the ozone generator runs for 30 to 45 minutes.

• We air the cabin out fully before you get back in. Ozone isn't safe to breathe, so the car has to ventilate and stay away from people, pets, and plants until it clears.
